Capabilities

Specializing in low-run, high-precision machining, Quantum CNC is a jobbing shop capable of taking on any project, and turning it around quickly. Our facility houses a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment designed to produce the highest quality and detail in each custom piece. We work to extremely tight tolerances and our machining is accurate up to 0.00001”.

Wire and Sink EDM

Our facility houses New Sodick Wire and Sink Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM).

On-Site 5-Axis CNC Machining Centre

We offer in-house, 5-Axis CNC Machining Centre capability, which not only improves accuracy and efficiencies so that we can complete your job faster, it allows for a streamlined process and more complex machining all in one unique setup, enabling Quantum CNC to deliver the highest-quality results, while eliminating human error.

CMM

Our programmable CNC Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) eliminates human error, and it is complete with 5-Axis inspection capabilities to produce dimensional reports.

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

We use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to carefully calculate and measure each component for an acceptable true position.

3D Machining

Utilizing our extensive experience with 3D Machining, we program our Machining Centres to carefully profile and contour each component. We use Mastercam® programming software to receive files electronically, which improves accuracy and efficiency.

Manual Machining

We also have a full manual department with highly skilled manual machinists to achieve smaller runs that do not require the significant preparation time involved in programming and setting up a CNC machine when it is not needed. This allows for a more cost-effective process for our customers, while still achieving our high-quality standards.

Support Services

Through our qualified vendor base, we are able to offer a full range of services which includes, but is not limited to, heat treating, welding, plating, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
